Accountants can expect to:

  • Take ownership of financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and tax obligations for a diverse client base.
  • Provide insights and strategic advice to clients on financial performance and business improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring seamless communication and top-tier service.
  • Supervise, train, mentor, and support junior and intermediate accountants, fostering professional growth.
  • Monitor and prioritise workflow to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
  • Lead and contribute to internal projects that enhance firm-wide systems, productivity, and client experience.
  • Drive continuous learning and innovation, staying ahead of industry and legislative changes.


What we're looking for:

  • 2-3 years of experience in an accounting practice
  • CA/CPA qualification (or working towards completion)
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven experience engaging with clients and delivering high-quality financial services
  • Strong technical proficiency, including the ability to leverage technology for efficiency
  • Ability to work in New Zealand on a full-time basis; citizen, resident, work visa.
