After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce and Law from the University of Auckland, Paul began his career as a Finance Graduate at Fletcher Building. He joined KPMG Deal Advisory in 2018 and spent two years in Restructuring / Insolvency and five years specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions.
Paul has advised on numerous private market transactions spanning financial services, manufacturing, wood processing, energy, and construction. His expertise includes working with a diverse client base — from privately owned SMEs to large corporates — on both buy-side and sell-side mandates.
Recognised for his strong client relationships and proactive, solutions-driven approach, Paul is valued for his collaborative style and pragmatic mindset.

Beyond the Numbers
Outside of work, Paul enjoys quality family time and chasing after his two young daughters. He also enjoys watching sports and attending live rugby games especially the Blues and Mate Maá Tonga teams. Paul is also a wannabe golfer and enjoys the odd combat sports training session during his leisure time.
