Graduating from the University of Auckland with a double major in Information Management and Accounting, David began his career with larger Chartered Accounting firms before establishing his own practice in 2016. His background gives him both the technical depth and practical insight needed to support clients through every stage of their business journey.
David is known for being more than a compliance accountant. He takes a genuine interest in his clients’ businesses, providing clear, honest advice across business structuring, wealth protection and tax planning. He works closely with clients on succession planning, business acquisitions and exits, due diligence, trust advice, and proactive tax strategies — ensuring the right structures are in place to safeguard assets and support long-term growth.
With significant experience in property taxation, David has assisted many investors and developers to navigate complex projects with confidence.

David has been with his partner Cynthia for over 20 years and is a proud father to Phoebe, who is currently based in London on her OE. Outside of work, he enjoys walking his five-year-old Golden Retriever, Chanel, and exploring New Zealand in his 7-metre Mercedes motorhome on.
