As a Senior Tax Consultant, you’ll work closely with a highly experienced leadership team, advising a diverse range of clients across structuring, compliance, international tax, risk management, and strategic planning. You’ll take ownership of client engagements, help lead the delivery of high-quality advice, and mentor junior team members — all while continuing to hone your technical expertise.

Senior Tax Consultants can expect to:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for companies, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Deliver tailored advice on tax structuring, risk management, international tax, and transactions.
- Stay ahead of legislative and regulatory changes to guide clients proactively.
- Manage client relationships and providing strategic, commercially minded advice.
- Lead and mentor junior staff to build technical expertise and client service excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement in tax processes, systems, and client service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for broader advisory services and value-add for clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring seamless communication and top-tier service.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and support junior and intermediate accountants, fostering professional growth.
- Monitor and prioritise workflow to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
- Lead and contribute to internal projects that enhance firm-wide systems, productivity, and client experience.
- Drive continuous learning and innovation, staying ahead of industry and legislative changes.

- Deep technical expertise across New Zealand tax laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage client engagements and relationships with confidence.

- A proactive, solutions-driven approach to work.

- Ability to work in New Zealand on a full-time basis (citizen, resident, or valid work visa).
