Senior Associates can expect to:
- Completing client engagements in business advisory
- Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, remain current on legislative changes, and lead change effectively
- Engage in business development activities i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to present a comprehensive strategy and service to prospective and current clients
- Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Graduate, Intermediate and Senior Accountants; and
- Ensure quality control by reviewing files and conducting peer review of business improvement engagements
- Monitoring and prioritise workflow
- Nurture client relationships, involving up-and-coming team members where possible.
- To be actively involved in firm wide project work – identifying and determining opportunities to improve systems and procedures leading to productivity gains and improved client service
- Proactively contribute to the strategic direction of Andersen
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years relevant work experience in an accounting firm, IFRS experience an advantage but not essential
- Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree – Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree (preferred).
- Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proven experience leading and managing people and teams.
- Proficient use of technology.
- Ability to work in New Zealand on a full-time basis; citizen, resident, work visa.
