Accountants can expect to:
- Take ownership of financial reporting and tax obligations for a diverse client base.
- Upskill in IFRS compliance.
- Provide insights and strategic advice to clients on financial performance and business improvement.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring seamless communication and top-tier service.
- Supervise and support junior accountants, fostering professional growth.
- Monitor and prioritise workflow to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
- Lead and contribute to internal projects that enhance firm-wide systems, productivity, and client experience.
- Drive continuous learning and innovation, staying ahead of industry and legislative changes.
What we're looking for:
- 2-4 years of experience in an accounting practice
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards completion)
- A proactive self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven experience engaging with clients and delivering high-quality financial services
- Strong technical proficiency, including the ability to leverage technology for efficiency
- Ability to work in New Zealand on a full-time basis; citizen, resident, work visa.
